Apple reported quarterly revenue of $114.5 billion, up 12% from a year ago, and capped fiscal 2026 with an all-time record $479 billion in annual sales.
By the numbers: Diluted earnings per share came in at $2.10, up 14%. Apple set September quarter records for total revenue, iPhone revenue and EPS, and an all-time high for Services.
- iPhone revenue was $57.58 billion for the quarter, a 17% jump from the same period a year earlier.
Zoom in: The quarter ended September 26, 2026, before the iPhone Duo went on sale, so the foldable's preorders sit outside these numbers. The period leaned on the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max and on higher prices across older models.
What they're saying: "Today, Apple is proud to report a September quarter revenue record of $114.5 billion, up 12 percent from a year ago," said CEO John Ternus, in his first set of results as chief executive.
- "Apple delivered September quarter records for net income and EPS," said CFO Kevan Parekh.
Yes, but: Ternus told Reuters the company is working hard to get the Duo to as many customers as quickly as possible, but at this point it cannot predict when supply and demand will be in balance.
The backstory: The $1,999 iPhone Duo is Apple's first folding phone, with a 5.4 inch outer display and a 7.6 inch inner screen. Preorders sold out and some shipments are expected to land in 2027.
What's next: Apple declared a dividend of $0.27 per share, payable November 16 to shareholders of record as of November 12.
Why it matters: Apple just grew double digits on an aging lineup by charging more for it. The open question is whether the foldable turns that pricing power into a new upgrade cycle, and right now the limit is manufacturing.
