Nvidia’s Rogue Agent Cure
Nvidia launched a system yesterday designed to stop AI agents from doing things their owners never authorized . It runs each agent in a sealed sandbox and lets operators decide exactly which files, networks and credentials it can touch.
A second layer, called Sentry, watches from a separate chip the agent can't see or reach. If an agent tries to cross its boundary, Sentry can quarantine it in milliseconds, even if the main system is compromised. Comparisons to other sandboxes.
The sandbox software is free and open source, and works with any model. More than 100 partners are on board. Sentry needs Nvidia's newest data center hardware, and the company hasn't announced a price or a ship date. Nvidia's own announcement .

Iowa Steel Plant
President Trump announced Monday that Mesabi Metallics will build a $15 billion steel plant in southeast Iowa , which the White House says would be the country's first mega steel plant since the 1960s. Production is projected to start in 2030.
The mill would run on iron ore from the company's own Minnesota mine, the first new U.S. iron ore mine in 50 years. The White House projects 1,750 permanent jobs and up to 6,000 construction jobs.
Mesabi is owned by India's Essar Group, and its Minnesota site sat through years of legal and financial disputes before construction resumed in 2024. No Iowa site has been named yet. The company behind the plant .

The Two-List System That Kills Overwhelm
Oliver Burkeman, author of Four Thousand Weeks , has a fix for the list that never ends: Keep two of them.
- The first is the menu: everything you could do, everything you feel you should. It runs hundreds of items long and never stops growing. That's fine. It's a menu, not an order.
- The second list has a fixed number of slots. Five, maybe three, but no more than ten. Nothing joins it until something leaves, either finished or abandoned. No shuffling items back to the menu to sneak a new one in.
Why it works : you're not building a bottleneck. You're admitting you already are one. The overwhelm comes from believing you could clear the menu.

The One-Dish Salmon Pasta
Salmon is the rare food nobody argues about: omega-3s for your heart and brain, a full day's vitamin D, and more protein per ounce than chicken. The trick is getting your kids to eat it. Pasta solves that — and there’s just one dish to wash.
- Halve two pints of cherry tomatoes and spread them in a baking dish with five cloves of minced garlic, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Nestle in a block of light cream cheese and the salmon fillets. Roast until the tomatoes burst and the salmon flakes.
- Meanwhile, boil 12 ounces of protein pasta and save half a cup of the water.
- Stir it all together, flaking the salmon as you go, and loosen with pasta water until it turns into a sauce. Finish with fresh basil, Parmesan and red pepper flakes.
